Sparrows Installation Services completed a half-day machinery movement project in Radstock, unloading a new CNC machine from transport and positioning it safely inside the workshop.
Using a 7 tonne Hyster forklift, along with jacking, skating and controlled machinery movement, the team relocated equipment within the same property to make room for the new machine and manoeuvred it into position efficiently. The Challenge

Sparrows Installation Services planned the movement sequence around the available workshop space, using the 7 tonne Hyster forklift to handle the machine from transport and assist with the internal movement. Jacking and skating methods were then used to help manoeuvre the equipment into position with control and accuracy.
The Result
The machinery movement was completed safely in half a day, with the new CNC machine unloaded, moved into the workshop and positioned ready for the next stage of the client’s setup. The document records the project duration as half a day on a Monday.
