Sparrows Installation Services completed a machinery movement project at an industrial site in Radstock, relocating equipment from one workshop to another on the same property to make space for new machinery to be installed at a later date. The project was completed in half a day on a Saturday using a 7 tonne Hyster forklift, supported by jacking and skating equipment where required.
Forklift Machinery Movement
A 7 tonne Hyster forklift was used to lift, manoeuvre and relocate machinery safely between workshops on the same site.

The Challenge
The client needed to relocate machinery from one building to another within the same property, creating space for new equipment to be installed on a separate day. The move required controlled handling inside workshop spaces, with the machinery carefully manoeuvred through internal areas and between buildings.
Our Approach
Sparrows Installation Services planned a practical machinery movement solution using a 7 tonne Hyster forklift, supported by jacking and skating equipment. This allowed the team to move the equipment in a controlled manner from one workshop to another, while working around the layout and access restrictions of the site.
The Solution
Using the forklift, skates and experienced machinery movement operatives, the equipment was lifted, repositioned and relocated across the site. Each stage of the move was managed carefully to maintain control of the machinery, protect the surrounding workshop areas and prepare the space for the client’s next installation phase.
Saturday Relocation Programme
The move was completed during a half-day Saturday programme, helping the client prepare the workspace for future equipment installation.
The Result
The machinery relocation was completed within the planned half-day Saturday programme. The client’s equipment was successfully moved from one workshop to another, leaving the original area ready for the arrival and installation of new machinery.
